Secret Bao - Santa Barbara

We went here for NYE and the food and service were so great! We brought our toddler and didn’t originally realize they had a children’s menu, which was a really nice surprise as many of the dishes are on the spicy side. The outdoor patio is really cute and cozy, and we felt comfortable sitting outside given the heat lamps throughout. The food was so incredible! We were mostly surprised by the avocado and pear salad which may have been our favorite dish of the whole meal. We will definitely be back!

Always a good meal, with tons of wonderful flavors. We especially liked the pork belly Bao and pear avocado salad. One of our go-to restaurants!

Amazing place to eat. Everything we had was delicious. Highly recommend the scallops, the pork belly bao, shrimp bao, the Brussels sprouts and end with the sticky date cake. Also had the KFC bao, octopus bao, mushroom Bao, hamachi tacos, pumpkin dumplings, honey walnut shrimp and the donut bao and bingsu dessert. Amazing service and so incredibly helpful. Whenever a dish came with four pieces, they offered to add a fifth so everyone in our party could have one.

Every dish was so delicious the ribs are a must, but the crab curry and duck congee were equally amazing.

The food was very good but it was pricy for the portions.
