The place is good for those who want to stay longer, will buy they own coffee and food an cook on the premises. But for a one-night stay it was a bit too much. At least a bit of complementary coffee so you can prepare one in the morning would be a nice touch. They offer a free drinking water to add to their benefits.
Excellent location and very clean, with a beautiful view of Samaná and in a totally safe area. We stayed in an air-conditioned room, although we had the option to rent one with air. The sea breeze makes one not need air conditioning, nothing more with a ceiling fan enough and leftover, as the hotel is quite elevated. In this sense, to get to the hotel you have to climb a fairly steep staircase of about 50 steps, perhaps it is one of the few negative points we find. In conclusion it is a fully recommended hotel.
Clean, direct contact with the owners, good air conditioning with possibility of kitchen and spectacular views of the pork and the condo... the bad: without elevator, about 60 stairs; the water does not arrive very well to the room. Rooms of 1500 and 2000 pesos. It's worth the view.
I live there about 6 months back in 2012. I rented the small apartment on the bottom of the building with the private terrace, great value to about $300 USD monthly including all utilities, cable TV and Wi-Fi. Just 3 minutes walk to the beautiful Malecon and Marina of Samana. Very recommended, especially for a long-term stay.
A very cozy accommodation a few meters from the villa with a beautiful view of the entire bay, its owners reside in the same building so you feel the pleasant attentions of a couple of Christian husbands with 30 years of married, excellent price and good hygiene. ..
