We had the bruchetto as antipasto, and then some very large pizzas. They were well prepared and crusty, but somehow a bit too much although we had place recommended for the pizzas. The local redwine, the wine of the house, was served in a jug, and just as elegant as the packaging suggested it would be. The service was very good, and you did not leave the spot hungry at all.
I've been to la cuttura countless times. If nothing else can be said about the restaurant it is incredibly consistent. They've had the same menu more or less since 2007. However, I must say that I really enjoy the food there. It's not to die for by any means, but it definitely is good Italian food. I've tried various pastas and pizzas, grilled vegetables, fish, and steak. Honestly, I wouldn't order the tagliata again. But everything else is quite good considering the price range. The staff is incredibly friendly and the wait is never excessive. For dessert they also offer the tartufo alla nocciola di pizzo which (even though they don't make it at the restaurant) is quite easily among the best gelato in all of Italy!!
We went here as it was just down the hill from where we were staying. The food was fair but the service was a little dismissive. Italians using the restaurant at the same time were offered deserts and coffees and we couldn't get anyone's attention even to order a second drink! Had to go to the bar to pay as we couldn't attract the attention of the staff. Didn't go again.
Great and abundant food, family welcome and courtesy in the welcome the customers, lovely place, located parking
This place is very average. Portions are quite small, the octopus and potatoes seemed more of a tasting than a serving, the mix fish grill was the smallest I've even seen, the quality was not enough to warrant such small sizes. We had to ask a number of times for bread and water, the restaurant was not even full, I dread to be there when it is full. Considering where we were I thought at €35 per head was expensive, without alcohol. My generosity stopped me giving it 2 stars
