Feedback gevenHow do I start to review this establishment? We have never before made reservation via Open Table to a place that literally didn't know how to run their restaurant. We showed up to an empty restaurant with no one greeting us at all. After a short time, someone finally came up to greet us but didn't know anything about checking in with Open Table reservation. After a lengthy explanation, he still didn't understand what we wanted them to do. It was obvious that he doesn't even know what Open Table is. We gave up trying to get our reservation checked in. I truly think that there was a language barrier. Aside from the empty place, we do agree that the food was delicious. The same gentleman who greeted us was our waiter as well. It took awhile before he even came out to take our order and equally as long before our food came out. By this time, we were SO frustrated to even try to enjoy our food. After taking the first bite, we were surprised that it was very delicious and packed with flavor. The whole time we were dining, no one came by to check on us. The mango lassi came half way during our meal. I believe he told me that they didn't have any to begin with. At that point, I asked how can an India restaurant not have mango lassi. He must have noticed that I was bummed out and must have went out to get a batch from somewhere. Again, we waited a long time before the waiter came and gave us our bill. So, to sum this up, empty restaurant, need trained personnel and management on how to run a restaurant and finally, be prepared to wait. The plus side is the food was good. Needless to say, we will not be back!
We went members team and food quality was really good. Service was really good.
The Food is good and delicious. The ambience is great. I have no doubt they have great quality cook. They have lots of positives including parking, cleanliness however, they need to work on things SMILE the people they are servicing are the customers, they people who take order, who bring the order, bills etc.. should carry a smile on the face or at least say Hi. I know it is hard but doable. I noticed only one gentleman was carrying smile and asking feedback from everyone. it is definitely not the owner, definitely not the one who takes order Buffet the food was not hot. I saw the temperature stat was off it should have been hot. Again people are paying money to eat warm food My ask to the management is to work on this feedback and I'm sure you will get more customers.
Basic restaurant management is lacking. It took almost two hours for our group to get our meals...with one meal coming out about every mins, and with some meals being steaming hot and others almost cold. We didn’t get our appetizers (garlic naan) until half of the meals had been served. We ran out of water multiple times and had to take water pitchers from adjacent tables because our waiter simply disappeared unless he was bringing out a meal. Did I mention that we were the only people in the entire restaurant? Some of the food we ordered had decent flavor, but not nearly good enough to justify the mediocre service and incredibly long wait.
Even though we had a reservation (and came before time), the wait was long (an extra min) as the lunch buffet was quite busy. Food selection was quite good but seemed to run out of certain dishes (e.g. tandoori chicken) quickly. A decent salad choice at the buffet too. Dessert in the buffet was a little limited but was tasty (a beet dish). A good mix of veg and non-veg options were available for all the group.
