My sister got me a cake from here for my birthday, and then got another cake later on for her birthday, so I have tried their cakes twice and their ube cream puffs as well.The buttercream has a thick consistency and it feels like you are just eating butter spread thickly on a surface. The cake part has a soft texture like the kind you get when using a boxed cake mix, but it is definitely a step up from that. I would describe it as a Marie Callender's home kitchen kind of feel. I usually do like this type of cake but overall, it wasn't impressive and not too flavorful either.The good thing about the cakes though is that they look really cute. My sister's cake was more of a custom cake with the decorations designated by her husband. They drew a brief draft of what it would look like, edible butterflies and all. For my cake, they requested yellow and orange icing as those are my favorite, bright colors!The cream puffs were huge and the amount of cream inside was overwhelming as it tasted like this thick paste. Overall, still a very unique place.

Really disappointed that you can't mix flavors. I wanted to do their cookies and cream and flavor of the month, but they will only sell them with half original chocolate chip. I decided to just get the cookies and cream and to add more disappointment, I got half cookies and cream and half original. I KNOW they sell JUST cookies and cream because thats all I get. The original is too gooey and chocolatey for my taste. Although I love the cookies and cream, I'm stuck with two expensive cookies that I hate.

Stopped by the first time, and I am FURIOUS! Furious that I live so close to Choc Cookies because I have absolutely no self-control against whatever wizardry is going on within those walls. These cookies are absolute perfection. Idk why I haven 't taken a moment to recognize my favorite cookie spot in the Bay Area!! This is a hidden treasure that everyone needs in their life. It 's tucked behind a gas station on El Camino in Santa Clara and it 's pick up only. They 're known for their chocolate chip but they also have delicious seasonal cookies every month or so, which they announce via their IG or through text if you sign up for alerts like me lol. The downside for customers, and upside for the business, is that you cannot purchase singles. You have to purchase 4 cookies at a time (1 box and you have to either pick 4 of the same flavor or 2 and 2. This is how they get you! But it 's okay because it 's totally worth it. They also offer baked yesterday cookies for a discounted price and they have a special for chocolate chip on Tuesdays. The cookies: they are mountainous, huge, soft, WARM, flavorful, buttery, etc etc etc. If you love soft cookies like me, you 'll eat them right away and enjoy the gooeyness. If you like them a little more firm, wait 10 minutes to eat them. I always have leftovers for the next day because they are so big but a box is perfect for sharing with friends or bringing to a get together. It 's as simple, you need these cookies in your life : .

Freshly baked cookies. Need I say more?The first time we had these cookies, we did not wait and they were too mushy for us to eat. We ate them after Enchant and the were perfect. Came back a few weeks later to pick up cookies for a potluck. Unfortunately, my order was wrong, but we still ate them. I ordered a half and half box but got all chocolate chip instead. Hoping to try another new flavor of the month soon.
