There are the same tables, the same standing tables against the walls, the same merchandise display, the same menu boards, and the same display case. The only differences are the coffee, the logo, and the prices. **Coffee** The cold brew was decent, but I wouldn't spend $5.50 on it when it used to cost $5.19 at Chromatic. **Overall** It's a higher price for the same ambiance and seating, but with worse coffee. What a letdown! I noticed they have a London Fog, which got me excited, but I refuse to pay $6.50 for tea and milk. I'd rather get an Earl Grey boba, which is more affordable.
The barista who prepared my drink seemed a bit unsure of what she was doing; I saw her chatting with her coworker several times. When I finally received my drink, it looked more like an iced chocolate milkshake than anything else. It’s possible she made it incorrectly. Even though I grew up in the area, I now live in Southern California. I was excited to order this drink while visiting family this weekend, only to be very let down. I considered saying something at the time, but I tend to avoid causing a scene. Clearly, this is the exception here on Yelp, haha. I miss the days of Chromatic Coffee; it’s just not the same now. Although I know they are two different companies, I can’t help but compare the drink to what I remember. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be returning. I love lattes and coffee, but I’m hesitant to try it again here in case it’s just as disappointing. Well, there goes $6.50 straight to the trash. I regret coming here, but at least I’ve learned for the future.
Incredible. Exceptional. Worth the road trip. Paper Moon is a coffee house for true coffee enthusiasts! This place caters to lovers, connoisseurs, and aficionados alike! Seriously, the handcrafted drinks are made by incredibly friendly baristas who are eager to answer any questions about the menu. I highly recommend the Macchiato. The rich, velvety espresso melts in your mouth. If you want to offset the slight bitterness, opt for oat milk (this is NOT your typical Starbucks Macchiato). The Iced Lavender Latte with oat milk is another must-try. It's fragrant, smooth, and refreshing—perfect for enjoying on a chilly November morning or a hot July afternoon.
I ordered a seasoned drink called Anything 4 Selenas and my boyfriend ordered the Honduras pour over. First of all, I love the name because of Selena the singer and second of all, I haven't had a new good creamy coffee in a really long and I found the place! It's a rich coconut cream, vanilla, Simple syrup, cinnamon, and a shot of espresso with your choice of milk and my heart definitely went bidi bidi boom boom. Please don't make this drink seasonal and put it on the menu I do like how they are strict with only 6 people being inside the coffee shop at a time because of the pandemic. Will definitely try their kombuchas!
I am truly disappointed. Not because the coffee was terrible but because the latte that I purchased was named something completely completely different but it taste exactly like a latte that chromatic has. So not only did I pay like two dollars more for the same drink that chromatic has but I felt a little cheated LOL. I thought I was going there to try one of their specialties and the drink, anything for Selena, tasted exactly like the dark chocolate coconut latte from chromatic. All in all this is not my type a shop. But if you like overpriced item and you want to try something new, give it a shot By the way if you were wondering how much I paid for my 12 ounce drink, $8 because I had it breve. Normally $7.50.
