Upon arrival, we were pleased to find that there was no wait, and we were promptly seated, which is always a plus when you're hungry and craving some delicious ramen. We decided to start with their miso ramen, and I must say it was a flavorful journey for the taste buds. The broth had a deep, rich flavor that was undeniably enjoyable. However, for our personal taste, it was just a tad on the salty side. The balance between saltiness and umami was slightly skewed towards saltiness, which might not suit everyone's palate. One unique aspect of Ramen Taka is their use of digital menus on your phone. While this adds a modern touch to the dining experience, it can be a little challenging if you're used to the traditional printed menus. It takes a bit of getting used to, but it's a step towards embracing technology in the restaurant industry. One interesting feature I appreciated was the availability of two different sizes for the ramen bowls. This allows diners to choose according to their appetite, which is a thoughtful touch. In terms of logistics, the parking is situated at the back of the store, which can be convenient for those arriving by car. The staff at Ramen Taka were friendly and accommodating, which enhanced our overall dining experience. In conclusion, Ramen Taka offers a satisfying ramen experience with a few quirks. The miso ramen, while delicious, leaned towards being slightly saltier than our preference. The digital menu system might take a bit of getting used to, but it adds a modern twist to the dining experience. If you're in the mood for ramen and don't mind a slightly saltier broth, Ramen Taka is worth a visit, especially if you appreciate the convenience of different bowl sizes and friendly service.
Amazing! The service was awesome and the vegan ramen was really good. Especially loved the kale noodles!Vegetarian options: Vegan ramenTofu appetizer
The broth of their Tonkotsu was really good, warm and comforting to the tummy! The gyoza was good; it was soft like a regular dumpling and wasn’t very crispy, but it was good! My husband got the Taka ramen and loved the broth as well. The noodles were cooked well and delicious!Food: 4/5
Overall experience with Ramen Taka is decent. Ramen texture is outstanding. Jiro Tonkotsu Ramen: too much garlic way too much to a level you can taste the bitterness and the garlic smell will haunt your breath for the next two days. Taka Ramen: the soup base feels like MSG is going to crystallize out... too much umami and you will be craving for water... That's a shame given the noodle is great, and the staff are friendly.
Overall, it was a great experience, and the food was of high quality. Positive or negative, but it can get pricey really quickly if you choose to get optional additions to your ramen order. My family, young to old, left this place happy and satisfied. It's definitely worth a try if you have a craving for some good ramen.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly, saw several families with different age children.
