Sandi's Cobbler Cups - Santa Clara

We attended the 2023 Juneteenth celebration hosted by the African American Community Services Agency in Santa Clara County. The festival was well attended and had plenty of food vendors offering their authentic signature dishes.I can't remember the name of the person I was conversing with at the back of the booth for Sandi's CobblerCups but he did share what they're famous for Gumbo, Jambalaya, and Peach Cobbler. Of course, my curious self couldn't pass up an opportunity to try some Cajun food perfected from a family who has probably passed down the recipe from generation to generation. We ended ordering the combo which was half Gumbo and half Jambalaya. Surprisingly I don't think I have ever tried neither so the appreciation for the level of spices used, textures, and flavors were definitely heightened. My date and I shared the plate and when I got too full he finished the rest of it which is an indicator that he approved and thoroughly also enjoyed the dish. There was no skimping on the sausage vs. rice ratio either so it is something to pick up for a very filling and comforting meal.I hope to support these guys at future events, festivals, and celebrations. It looks like the primarily operate in a pop up format at larger event gatherings. I'm sure I'll run into them again somewhere in the Bay Area.Support local y'all!

Very disappointed by the shady business practices here. I waited half an hour to get to the front of the line and was then told that all of the signs were wrong and the food items cost way more than advertised. I refused to be extorted and walked away empty handed. Don't waste your time money here!

Cobblers and gumbo are both delicious and outstanding customer service.

Sandi's Cobbler Cup are awesome but she offers so much more. The gumbo and jambalaya is always fresh and taste great. Sandi is very professional and offers catering that's second to none.

Got Sandi's catered at work and WOW!! This feels like a really good home cooked meal. We met Sandi herself upon delivery. The food itself was incredible. There was a lot of flavor and unique tastes. It felt like quality meal. The chicken pasta and Mac and cheese were my favorite but also had the chance to try the vegan rice and steamed vegetables. I thought I'd cry! It's hard to get delicious food when it's catered in such large sizes so it was a wonderful experience to have Sandi's deliver such a good experience.
