Ihop - Santa Clarita

It was a Holiday and of course very busy. We called the order in and it was ready upon arrival. I requested additional items for my to go order and they were very accommodating. I like this IHop.

We ordered online to pick up food on Thanksgiving Day. Unfortunately due to the holiday they were understaffed and had a plethora of online orders plus they were busy with dine in customers, so our food wasn't ready until 35 minutes after our originally scheduled pick up time! But they were courteous and offered us drinks while we waited and once we got the food to our final destination and ate it, the turkey dinners were delicious! So worth the wait! I would highly recommend the IHOP on Soledad Cyn in Canyon Country anytime!

My waiter said, It 's nice to see you, and I 'm glad you chose us for breakfast today. That comment made y day.

I ordered through grubhub, and the guy at the restaurant called me and said they didn 't have an item I wanted, and told me I should contact grubhub, and I asked him if he could switch something out for the original item (that was only a $1 difference), because it was a hassle to talk with the automated chat service that grubhub has. He fell silent for about 20 seconds, and then his whole attitude changed, and he said I GUESS I could do it for you as if it was such an inconvenience to help me out. If you didn 't want to, or weren 't allowed to.. that 's fine.. say no. I won 't be offended. Disappointed? Yeah. But it would have been whatever. I work in customer service too, and it 's never ok to be rude and act like the customer is an inconvenience. You have a job, because of the customers you have. Don 't be rude and act like that.
