The indoor and outdoor seating options are lovely, and they only accept reservations for groups of 7 or more. In addition to a wide variety of teas, they also offer sandwiches, salads, and egg dishes. The only downside is that they do not have lemon curd for their scones. It's a great place to meet a friend, treat your child, host a small party, or simply indulge in a delicious meal. They cater to gluten-free and vegetarian diets, and they serve a different daily soup. The staff is excellent as well.
Delicious tea, great food. Customer service was exceptional. Small 5 seat waiting room was a little rough, when there were about 12 pole waiting (including my group of 4). Wait time was only about 20 min, which was also pretty good for a Sunday. We had tea, sandwiches, a few desserts, and some delicious scones. Great experience overall.
This is my favorite place for breakfast. The teas and the food are so good. Never had anything here that I didn't love. Service is always great. The chicken mushroom wrap is to die for!
Very cute tea shop. Their food and drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is great. My only recommendation is to either not go at exactly lunch time or make reservations in advance because it gets busy especially on the weekends.
If I could give zero stars I would. I made a reservation for a group of 8 seniors and we hoped to enjoy a classy tea and lunch. When we got there we were led to a back room that had not even been set up. There was no table linen and it was 3 small tables just pushed together. The tables didn 't even look wiped and the mirrors were filthy and had smudge marks on them. The waitress was okay and had a lot of patience with taking our order, but the food was awful. The ciabatta bread was hard, the French toast one of our ladies ordered was hard to chew and when we told the waitress she just said sorry but did not offer to make it right. I 've never seen an orange lobster bisque before but that was the soup of the day and it was as watery as chicken broth and no lobster to be seen. The tiny servings of dessert we ordered at the end were the best part of the meal. The dirty room we were served in, the sloppy presentation of the plates, the silverware wrapped in paper napkins and the plastic water glasses were very underwhelming. On the way home the ladies said it was the worst place they had eaten out of every outing they had gone on. I was so embarrassed. They had been looking forward to this. At least we could have had a clean room with nice linen. I used to love coming here and am not sure what happened. Below is a pic of the mirror and the size of the small tables. Now, imagine 4 of those pushed together to seat 8! So the worst part is they added 18 percent gratuity on the bill so we tipped them twice. The ladies were in such a hurry to leave that we didn?t check the bill thoroughly. I hope this place can make it right. Here is the photo of the room and the dirty mirrors.
