Choripan and empanadas are must-have street food items for any Argentinian, and this place does them justice. The choripan and empanadas are exceptional and true to tradition. What sets this charming restaurant apart is that the owner makes everything from scratch, including the chorizo. The food is fresh, and the place is impeccably clean. Their mild chimichurri is spot on, and they also offer a variety of delicious dipping sauces that you won't find at other Argentinian restaurants. The loyalty card offering a free meal after purchasing five is a nice bonus. I am excited to return and continue enjoying their delicious food.
This was my first time trying this place because I was curious as me being an Argentinian myself. When I enter there there were almost not empanadas left and they don 't look as fresh so I asked what kind of alfajores they sell and between the cashier guy and the cook lady they didn 't have any clue. She says I just put dulce de leche in the middle and show me one of the tapas Do you really want to promote argentinian food in Santa clarita?train your employees so the place is more inviting... Im curious about the choripan Good luck if you are an argentinian , I was just trying to give my support
A friend recommended this restaurant to me, and I was surprised to find out about its existence. As an Argentinian from Buenos Aires, I ordered the chorizo sandwich and alfajores. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the food as it did not taste or look anything like it should. The chorizo sandwich was not authentic, and the sausage was not enjoyable. The chimichurri lacked flavor and was oily. The alfajores were also unappetizing. It was perplexing to see the restaurant owned by a Chinese lady, as it did not make sense to me. In my opinion, it is embarrassing for someone not from Argentina to run a business serving Argentinian food. I believe this restaurant should consider closing down.
I visited this restaurant on Saturday and had a great experience. The staff was amazing and the flagship sausage I ordered was delicious with great flavor. The French bread was also excellent, with a perfect crunch but not burnt. The toppings (tomato, lettuce, onion, mayo, and spicy mix) were all fresh, like you would find at a farmers market. The prices matched the quality of the food. I'm excited to try the rest of the menu and I noticed they also have empanadas available.
Even though my order was wrong (i ordered shrimp instead i recieved chicken) food was OK, customer service is ok. Get rid of the helper girl in pajamas, she has an attitude poor customer service and did not apologize for getting the order wrong.
