M.g. Sushi - Santa Cruz

The only reason I go in MGSushi is because I'm being paid to. Granted the turnover rate is what you want to see from a sushi restaurant, however the restaurant itself leaves too much to be desired. The staff are nice

The food is good, but its take out only. The owners are hoping to increase business so they can open for in restaurant service again.

Good reasonably priced sushi. Only to go and order ahead with an app about 40 minutes before or prepare to wait.

Asian lives matter and also Black Lives Matter. When I’m eating and I see the sign Asian lives matter in your window without a BLM reference and/or signal of allyship, all I can think about is anti-black racism. So much so I don’t remember how the food tasted. Maybe there has been change or something I missed?

UPDATE: Worst customer service ever AND cold food as well!!!! Do NOT order food for pick up or delivery from here any longer. They are under new management and no longer care about their customers satisfaction. So so so disappointed! We have lost our favorite sushi place. Do not recommend in any way shape or form
