Wharf House - Santa Cruz

Hello! Overall, it's a good place, but quite expensive. I really love the view.

We live above Capitola Village and chose this restaurant for our rehearsal dinner, and it was an incredible experience. We’ve enjoyed coming here for years to relax and listen to live bands upstairs. They graciously closed the entire restaurant for us, giving us exclusive use of the inside space—what a treat! The manager is delightful and incredibly kind, providing us with excellent service, along with the bartender and the chef. I’ve always loved this place, and if you're planning an event, it's the perfect venue. We even had the bar to ourselves! Thank you for making our night so special.

Excellent place to eat. The waitress/Koch went over the top with her service. My bf asked for a stick when butter n she actually melted a stick of butter for us... and the view is excellent... Imagine it's at the end of the Wharf in Capitola. How good is it?. Love my Clam Chowder on a bread bowl.

We arrived at the Wharf House on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 in November and had our selection of tables with views. Becca our server quickly became our friend, and it delivered excellent service during our first visit. The establishment of the restaurant is charming nautical. My wife loved the Clam-Chowder that was served in an acidic dough dish, and said it was much better than the Clam-Chowder that she had the day before in another Capitola restaurant. I enjoyed the Capitola Club Sandwich, and our 10-year-old son thought the kids cheese burgers and pommes were great! We're grown up, too. The view from our table was fantastic! Overall the experience exceeded our expectations and we look forward to our second visit.

The food is wonderful! I am not a fan of Claim Chowder. I have to get a bowl every time I eat here. The staff are the best! Very welcoming and great hospitality! The lunch prices on here are incorrect. The lunch is more expensive than listed. Worth every penny! There is paid parking at the peer. 1$ per hour. Super cheap!
