I am in full amazement and would like to let everyone know how brilliant this place was!
Beautiful restaurant with large selection of dressed. most Italian and Spanish or local food for decent price. nice and efficient service. the restaurant is large in the inner and offers a large number of people. they also have a small terrace. we took pizzas and they are huge (European understanding). if they are not very hungry, they can share. the service is also available. I would recommend it.
Hemos visitado dos veces, ahora se llama Limoncello, no sé si los mismos dueños pero la comida es excelente y con mucha variedad. Altamente recomendable.
After a week in teneriffa and only good experiences in restaurants we had a bad one. After a Sunday that visited santa cruz we drove to the north to san andres to see the famous beach and to eat a bit for lunch....We should probably have gone into a Spanish restaurant or bar and had tapas, but we thought pizza would be nice for a change. that wasn't it. da canio had a good atmosphere in the main restaurant, where the locals had family dinners. we sat before the restaurant in front of the kitchen with a shower. the waiter wasn't very friendly and always gave the impression that it was too much to serve us. we ordered the daily fish main and three pizzas. the fish liked ok and was reasonable worth, but came to the table mins before the pizzas (the mins should take in). the pizzas were big, but not very tasty. the bases did not taste very fresh and the sausage on a pizza was cut frankfurter dogs. Sausage on a Spanish pizza is usually much better. we ordered half a liter house white what is really good in the real thing. but not here. perhaps this was a special house white for tourist? we couldn't drink it and prefer it than the water. no interest in desserts or coffee. I just wanted to pay and leave the asap, but when the bill came, it was wrong. they have accused us of a more expensive pizza and accused us of the wine. at the end the bill had to be reduced, but they wonder how often they try this with non-Spanish speaking tourists. there are probably many better restaurants in san andres. I wouldn't visit them if I wasn't a native. we went so fast that we didn't even look at the beach.
This is a very nice small Spanish village with quiet a few good restaurants, de canio is one of them. we ate there during our day stay and it was excellent every time, my favorite was the ravioli tres fantasia. pizzas. are huge, the people in our group were vegetarian and those were spoiled for the choice, the auberginen parmigiana was their favorites. the local red wine was beautiful dominguez? I think of a bottle, bring her google translate, as they had only two English menus, but fortunately we had enough Spanish to come by. this is a very good and very reasonable restaurant.
