Stopped by on the way to Phoenix for a quick breakfast. Had the veggie quiche which was delicious and a raspberry pastry with a caramel latte. I will definitely visit again when I’m in the area!!
Really amazing food here. They really know what they are doing with the baked goods. Waffle bowl was awesome too. Its about a 10min walk from the plaza and I definitely recommend! Very friendly people as well.
BoulTawn's advertises that it has the best bagel in Santa Fe. A traditional bagel has a thin, brown, smooth, glossy crust with a real crunch that contrasts with the interior. Santa Feans seem to prefer bagels that are uniformly chewy or doughy with no crust. BoulTawn's has doughy Santa Fe bagels. Santa Fe had surprisingly good (meaning traditional style) bagels in the late 90s but no more. When I went, the counter service was surprisingly confused, and my two item order (bagel and coffee) had to be clarified a few times. I was the only customer at the counter, so I'm not sure what the issue was. Parking was a real challenge. If you're coming from downtown, walk there. The coffee was on the bitter end of the spectrum.
Great bagels. The green chile cheese bagel was my favorite
