Recently complete food plant was based sos lifestyle and understood that some whole foods workers go through training for this lifestyle. so far the santa Fe store, while it sells vegan food (e.g. motor 2) in the market department, the restaurant area has little over some raw vegetables. I would think and certainly hope that whole foods corporation will see that this lifestyle becomes more than a trend. I'll keep checking.
Although this whole food sells many vegan foods, their prepared foods have little to no vegan options. I usually lie on whole food for food when I place on places with few options, so this was quite disappointing.
Maybe because it was a Saturday night, the whole place was pretty dead. hardly customers inside. I was eager to find some local goodies, but none seen. the salad hot bars also did not look too inviting and had very little for vegans from what I could say. the cash register at the only open bank lane was very friendly!
The reviews below look like this used to be a better place, but it was bustling with activity when I was there a few months ago on a short trip to Santa Fe, which was highly unimpressive... You can always count on Whole Foods to have what you need, we found Health Starts Here vegan items to fuel our journey out of Sante Fe
