Bangin Buns

Was really happy to see a new hot chicken place but was very let down at the basic bordering plain level of flavor and appeal. The pictures they show vs. what you get are 2 different things. The spicyness is there but no real flavor to back it up. The house sauce is pretty standard. Ranch is Hidden Valley or some other bottled dressing. At least it tastes like that. It's not an in-house ranch dip/sauce. The hot honey tastes like and is runny like vinegar and hot sauce. Idk what else to say. I have a favorite spot of another brand that shut down recently, and the other stores are few and far between. They are so good yet are struggling to stay open. Yet a place with this mid level food opens up? Step it up.

Do NOT get the chicken caesar salad. It didn’t even come with caesar dressing. The lettuce was DRY and had no sauce on it whatsoever besides the water they used to wash it. The bangin fries were good but not as good as the other hot chicken places. I was drawn by the Instagram posts but it didn’t live up to the hype.

The quality of this place has gone down SO much. I had it today for takeout (sunday) and idk if they switched the seasoning, the chicken tenders, or decided to give us the bottom of the barrel chicken, but it was NASTY. It was super hard to chew into, it was mainly the crunchy coating of the chicken and very minimal chicken past the outer layer. The coleslaw was also ridiculously small, not even half a scoop of coleslaw was in that burger. The seasoning was meant to be medium and tasted as if it was less than mild (barely any flavor).I know they closed this location for a few months and then re-opened it so idk if it’s under new management or something. But definitely wouldn’t recommend this location.

My favorite hot chicken spot that has been around for years now. They get the flavor to spice ratio right and the rolls and fries are great. I also enjoy the lemonade from time to time.
