Cherri's Donuts - Santa Fe Springs

I have been going to this place for decades. Back when they were on Florence and Orr day behind the Winchells. Always friendly, always helping out the community, by donating donuts to school events from elementary to high school, also city meetings, PTA, they are good people and deserve our support. AND THEY MAKE SOME PRETTY GOOD DONUTS COFFEE.

Just tried this place for the first time as we are new to the area. We LOVE simone's in long beach, but want a great donut place that is closer.. The donuts were just okay. You can't get any specialty donuts if you order a dozen which is unfortunate. Why not just charge extra for the specialty ones? So we had to get a dozen assorted plus extra so we could try the cronuts. They only ice/put toppings on the front half of the donut which is a bummer. And it was a little pricey. Staff working the front was nice though. Overall, not bad, but will probably just make the drive to Long Beach if I want donuts because Simone's just can't be beat.

I thought I had shared a review for this awesome place, but I digress. The food here is great, so tasty beyond relief! The service is excellent! The ambiance is great as well, I must say! I'm obsessed with their donuts!!!!!!

My family came late at night and the service was one of the best service we got in a long time. The older man was so sweet and friendly, walking up to the door you can smell the donuts. It smells so good inside. The donuts here was definitely worth the little drive and they were so good.
