Boba House - Santa Maria

The teriyaki chicken and jumbo roasted shrimp are fantastic. The service was polite and quick. No complaints here!

This is a small yet well-spaced restaurant featuring classic and tastefully designed decor. The menu is simple, making it easy to navigate without feeling overwhelmed. The service provided by the lady at the front was fantastic; she was knowledgeable about the dishes and contributed to the great atmosphere. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, with great overall value. An added bonus was the daily special, which allowed my coworker to enjoy a complimentary soft drink since our meal exceeded $8.

I love her Kung Pao chicken! They allow me to substitute zucchini for celery because I’m allergic to celery. They always get my order right, and the portion size is generous enough for two meals. The flavor and tenderness are outstanding. I’ve tried other dishes, but Kung Pao chicken is definitely my favorite.

I give this place a three star because of cleanliness and prompt service. Food is tasty but saturated with fillers. They had a good flow of ”to-go” orders, and maybe we ordered the wrong food. The General Chicken had an overpowering thick sauce, and the Egg flower soup was watery and not your typical Chinese soup. The restaurant has so much potential, but it needs to step up its game and offer more somewhat of the real Chinese food taste like. Btw, the Boba drinks were dissappiting, not flavorful and has an after taste.

Great food. Only problem is I’ve ordered fried rice twice and they gave me steamed rice both times. And they charged me both times for the fried rice.
