Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I had a fantastic dining experience with delicious, homestyle cooking and a welcoming staff. Tonight, I tried the Sampler, which featured meatloaf, sugar-cured ham, and chicken and dumplings. For sides, I chose fried okra, pinto beans, and country-style green beans. I finished off my meal with a slice of Coca-Cola cake topped with ice cream, all washed down with sweet tea. It was a perfect 10 out of 10!

The service was excellent, particularly given the COVID restrictions. The food was delicious as well. My wife received a plush unicorn, which really brightened her day!

The food was fantastic—definitely the best breakfast I've had in quite some time. The shop itself is adorable, filled with charming little items.

So...my husband and I have been waiting for the crowds to thin out before we went to the new Cracker Barrel in Santa Maria. Our plan worked out perfectly and it was worth the wait. My husband had the blueberry pancakes...perfect...hot blueberry syrup and all. I had to try Chicken Fried Steak...loved it. I couldn't get enough of the fresh lemonade. I want to go back and do some shopping, the country store is loaded with everything I love.

My wife ordered the chicken pot pie she really loves it especially with the portion. I ordered the open faced pot roast it was ok and I would definitely be back to try something else. The unsweetened iced tea is really good and the general manager greeted us and brought 6 glasses of tea and 1 to go. We really liked it here for the first time visitors to the restaurant.
