Fortezza Di Pozzo - Santa maria a monte

We stayed in the hotel above the restaurant and after reading the reviews we off course had to try it and... where not disappointed! As starter we had egg plant, caramelized onion and mozzarella. Just absolutely great taste! As main we where uniform again and that spicy garlic oil spaghetti with fondued parmesan which was very nice! The desert we shared and the picture says it all! Would recommend this place

Food was delicious, well-presented and reasonable value for money. My husband had sliced beef with a crumble coating and it was the best beef he had had in our 2 week holiday. Desserts were freshly prepared and equally delicious.

This restaurant is hidden in a very small village. The service is excellent, the wine list has good quality wines for good prices. The food is excellent and fresh. Wonderful place and great view.

Family of Four had dinner on the summer patio. The Starter which was an assortment of Italian meats, cheeses, pesto's and vegetables was really good. We had their pasta dishes (truffles, black pork and cheese, another was rabbit and garlic and oil) and it was really tasty. The prices were okay, a little more than I would have thought but all in all a very good experience and very good food. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come again.
