Da Franco - SANTA MARINA SALINA

Spending the night in the b n b da Franco and considering the outstanding view from the terrace, we decided to have diner there . The food was absolutely fabulous, moustly the Buffalo and capers antipasti and the canoli dessert. We even had delicious anchovy starters offered . All that with the romantic vibe emerging from the see view, with the other enlightened eoli islands. It is a shame this place is often beeing mistakened with the da Franco pizzeria on TripAdvisor and apparently not well known by the other tourists (probably favouring the other restaurants next to the port and giving lots of Flyers)

Una location incantevole, panorama a 180°, a 3 min di navetta (mandata dal ristorante al nostro albergo). Cucina tipica, semplice e con tanto pesce, senza fronzoli gourmet e microporzioni.

Absolutely loved our stay at Da Franco in Salina. Service was very very good (thank you Enrico), the included breakfast was delicious basic but delicious, location easy and staff super helpful. The pool was unbelievable with incredible views and the experience just good value for money overall. Also ate a delicious amatriciana pasta in the restaurant there. Already wanting to come back!

I returned for the second time to this property, the hotel combines the beauty of the classic Aeolian houses with some comforts of a more modern hotel (e.g. the swimming pool). Extremely courteous and helpful service. An ideal place to enjoy a few days of relaxation and, if necessary, work while looking at the sea. Advised.
