Il Giardinetto Da Igoretto

The best Italian food that I have ever had (having been to Italy a few times before). We had the Seafood pasta and the cheese and pepper pasta as first dishes, then we had sausage and mushroom, four cheeses and ham pizza (threeway split) The pizzas were clearly freshly made and with incredible experience. The special dish for me was the seafood pasta which had all the seafood you could ask in a rich tomato based sauce. Although there was a serious language barrier as a tourist, the staff tried their absolute hardest to speak English which allowed us to enjoy this phenomenal experience. Bookings are required. No walk-ins.

We drove four days from Ireland to Italy. When we sorted out our camping we just wanted good pasta. We found Giardinetto just down the road. We loved that the waitress warned that we were ordering too much, they have big servings! We had their Bruschetta Mixte, we should have realised it was a meal for two on its own! It was 15Euro. We then had one serving of Spaghetti Carbonara 12euro. Both dishes were cooked to perfection! We simply could not finish the Carbonara, to do so would have permenantly damaged us! It was hard to let it go....but we'll be back there tonight. The ambiance was noisy, funny inclusive.

We were looking for take-away while were staying at a hotel nearby , it was raining , I was sick and we were exhausted from travelling. We passed by this place on our way to the market a few blocks to the north and found their menu online. We elected to go simple, with pizza. I walked to the restaurant, found it to be bustling place with lots of happy customers including large groups, ordered a sausage and onion pizza at the host- stand, came back 20 minutes later and saw them get our pizza out of the oven , slide it onto a box and hand it to me, and we were eating it 4 minutes later: tasty and hit the spot!

Super service Food amazing.. The atmosphere is casual. Lovely busy Italian place. Happy guests and Happy staff.

We were vacationing in Santa Marinella and were recommended this place. We found the food to be good and the atmosphere to be interesting. Everyone worked so hard and seemed ver friendly. However, when it came time to pay our bill, they clearly were adding 10€ additional. We brought the menu to the front and still were charged the wrong amount, plus argued with. Additionally, in true American style, we tipped- though not necessary. We returned to the table to grab that back since we were purposely overcharged, but it had been quickly scooped up. If you want a good meal, then go. But be aware of what you are being charged. This put a real damper on our evening.
