Sakura used to be quite decent (from Santa Marta standards). They moved from the seafront to Cra. 3 and had not tried them since they had moved. Drinking took about 30 minutes to get out, we had to ask three times before they were taken. (There was only one other table, so it's not like they were busy). The food came out over an hour, people were already made with their meals when half the table got their food. They were from most drinks options, as well as 4-5 food options that we tried to order. Shashimi came from FROZEN, not cold, frozen. The roles we ordered (which were decent in the past) were garbage and tiny. I went and instead brought a arepa medium meal. My friend ordered a role without Queso-Crema, because she's allergic... she stuck her anyway, and she was sick all night. The service was bad, even according to Santa Marta standards. Our group of 7 all went to other food after
It is difficult to find if you drive a taxi because Sakura is facing the yacht harbour in Santa Marta; it's not in Rodadero. It is located at the northern end of the marina. The service is slow, but the food is not bad; So don't go super hungry there. The rice is too muddy and too much of it. They only have a pot, and I was informed to hurry and drink. They serve only one kind of will: the cheapest Gekkeikan. Our server was very good and sincere; only little knowledge about sushi. The spearmint lemonade is fantastic! There is plenty of space to improve
The sushi was OK. The service was bad. The order (basic rolls) took over an hour to arrive. Some items that were ordered were not delivered. The check took 15 minutes to arrive. The check was incorrect and needed to be fixed. This took another 5 minutes.
Es un sitio muy agradable, la carta muy variada y el sushi muy bueno. Particularmente me encantó el ceviche roll
