Bardonna - Santa Monica

This charming café on Montana in Santa Monica offers delicious food and excellent coffee beverages. I make it a point to visit whenever I'm in the area, and it's always a reliable choice. I definitely recommend this place!

The salad was overpriced, the chicken was quite dry, and there was no dressing.

I had an excellent breakfast burrito and was impressed by the extensive menu. Ordering at the counter was a breeze, and there were plenty of seating options available. I'm excited to explore more items from the menu in the future!

Based on two visits, their food is mostly good. The menu does not say that they charge a 10% service fee and there is no mention of it at the checkout either. On both of my visits I’ve had to ask the waiters multiple times for the drinks I ordered. In addition on both visits the coffee has been missing extra-charged plant milk. The waiters seem to be a bit lost, when I asked about the orders, no one knows anything. There was also a piece of hair in the ordered waffle. The burrata they served tasted like blue cheese. Even though the burrata returned to the kitchen and the waiter came to ask about the new burrata (tasting also like blue cheese), no refund was offered.

Coffee and juices are really good. I got the chilaquiles and it wasn’t my favorite I’ve ever had but not bad! I do want to go back and try something different. They have a really good menu and everyone else enjoyed their meal.
