The warm atmosphere sitting outside on the back patio underneath the tree with an array of heaters and soft lighting is the perfect setting to enjoy the great pizza. We ordered the garlic bread, the prosciutto Neapolitan and a couple slices of the New York style. The neopolitan (my favorite style) had great flavor and a crispy crust but a very floppy body. The New York style were generously sized, good flavor and a crispy crust but a similarly soft undercarriage. Very friendly service and great vibes and reasonable pricing.
Truly some of the best pizza you can get in LA salads are also really
Solid well crafted food with an open busy kitchen makes for fun atmosphere. Great for a hot slice and or casual dinner. Crust is delicious seems like influenced by bakery next door with a more artisanal sourdough texture and flavor. I got market vegetable paired squash with some goat cheese. Wish I got a side they all looked market fresh and good flavors.
Went yesterday for the first time. Great food, delightful patio, personable
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE POLICYBeware of this place and it 's overly protective owner. Bought bagels at Layla (literally 2 sandwiches), bought bread at Jyan Isaac (over $50 of bread, 5 loaves in total), and was told that we could not sit at their EMPTY tables to enjoy our sandwiches and the baguette we had just bought at Jyan Isaac. While I understand creating policies to protect your paying customers, you should allow your staff a little discretion and flexibility to provide more quality customer service. The policy of absolutely no outside food regardless of the fact that you are a paying customer of BOTH stores while ALL of your tables are empty seems super petty and bad business. I will not be supporting an owner that does not value their customers enough to give them a place to enjoy the products they just bought. Also in speaking with the manager, he further clarified that even if we had just bought bread from there that it is considered take-out and still would not qualify us to use their tables. The owner should also consider that we would not have bought ANY bread from your bakery if we had not been going to Layla for lunch, so having such a competitive attitude toward your neighbor is short-sighted and will lose you business.
