Sushi Hanashi - Santa Monica

The calamari, priced at around $9 for four small pieces, was disappointing.

Very calming atmosphere, the food is good and at a great price as well

First time eating sushi and it was delicious and great service overall great experience.

Hello, i was a student at samo nearby and had constant issues with the servers questioning our budget capability when we would ask for extra sauces (which trust 1$ doesn 't hurt anyone 's pockets lol They also recently took out 3$ for a tip that i never authorized due to poor attitude and service. I love to tip, but my experience wasn 't considerably tip worthy so me and my friends left peacefully and thankfully for our amazing meal. Two days later we found out they took 3$ out of our accounts for their tip. Last time i checked that 's illegal to take money out of someone 's account days after a transaction we ALREADY paid for. I called and the receptionist whom i believe was the same server as i recognized her voice (and attitude but she decided to hang up after saying she didn 't remember who i was i tried to communicate with her about the petty 3$ and my identity and even gave her my full name, there transaction i 'd, and when and were the transaction took place. she hanged up in my face (which was pretty funny so if you need a comedic environment while munching on sushi this place is for YOU . Good food, great cooks, terrible servers. I wish y 'all the best.

Food really great and the service and atmosphere was safe and great.
