If you like dry carrot cake with little to no cream cheese frosting loaded with nuts as crunchy as trail mix, then this place is for you. It seems this place likes to use whipped cream more than buttercream for the main outer frosting, NO THANKS! I love whipped cream, but using it as the dominant outer frosting comes off stingy and tastes bland. You're better off getting a slice of carrot cake from Susie Cakes, Whole Foods, Bristol Farms, or anywhere else. Even Ralph's is better, and for only 3 bucks a slice, you can walk away with 6 extra dollars in your pocket and a smile from having enjoyed a moist slice with a decent amount of yummy cream cheese buttercream frosting.
