The Curious Palate - Santa Monica

This is a great place and checks all boxes for us. Great local beer options helped to start the dinge right. we had a blt and a train mi, both of which were excellent. the service was very good, timing the check-ins perfect. I think this place is a little hidden on the basis of the situation, but do you like one and stop them here to enjoy a fantastic lunch or dinner.

We stumbled upon The Curious Palate while visiting Santa Monica for the day, and we’re so glad we did! It's a restaurant with seating available, but you order your food before being seated, and the staff delivers it to your table. The owner welcomed us right away and was very helpful as we were deciding on our drinks. He brought us several samples of beer, as well as some apple and kombucha drinks, which were very refreshing! I ordered the chipotle chicken sandwich with fries, and my friend chose the BLT with heirloom tomatoes on sourdough. Everything was absolutely delicious! We sat on the terrace, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in Santa Monica!

The dining experience and service at The Curious Palate are exceptional! It’s definitely a hidden gem in Santa Monica Square. Honestly, it’s the best place to eat when you’re in Santa Monica. The curried cauliflower is outstanding, and the accompanying sauce is incredible!

Outstanding restaurant! We had such a fantastic experience that we dined there three days in a row :D The ingredients are fresh, the menu changes with the seasons, and the staff is attentive, helpful, and incredibly friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in Santa Monica, whether you're a local or just visiting.

The food was fantastic! The service was extremely friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed the curry cauliflower and chicken satay appetizers—they were delicious. The salad was fresh and flavorful as well. Everything was so good that we ended up ordering a second appetizer and dessert. We were tempted to stay longer and try everything on the menu after seeing what other diners were enjoying.
