Certainly did not expect to say this.... but I had the greatest steak of my life at this very restaurant. A filet mignon. It blew away all the Wagyu cuts I have previously had. All of our side dishes were absolutely flawless as well. The employees were as friendly and helpful as they get. Solidarity ended up being our favorite restaurant we visited on our trip up the entire West coast.
This. This is it. The best restaurant I've been to so far. From the Kielbasa to the Cucumber salad, right through to the Paprikash and the polish cheesecake, every. Single. Thing. was extremely well presented and delicious.
We catered a family gathering after a memorial service for my dad, and the outcome was perfect. Everyone raved about the food, the staff was amazing to work with, and the quantities were spot-on. The food was comforting and delicious. Everything on this menu is excellent. We highly recommend Solidarity for a meal at the restaurant or for any event that requires catering!
A great place and one of the last of its kind anywhere. As time marches on, good luck trying to find this type of food. In a sea of noodle houses and needlessly spicy fried chicken establishments, the restaurant helps preserve old world tastes and quality. Order anything off the menu and you will quickly recognize these flavors need to be preserved and celebrated. Sadly, they are not sexy by today's standards. They are simply delicious. So if you care about substance over style, go and treat yourself. The only drawbacks are poor parking, a little pricey for some items and a $25 fee just because you show up with your own cake. This was disappointing considering that we already spent plenty on the rest of the meal.
