We come to celebrate with reasons so that we can order paella to warm up at home. The protions are very generous. My family for 4 can share a family-sized meal (with seconds) and I still have some remaining remains. We order with extra sausage and Calamari. Take out comes cold so that you can store it in your refrigerator until your ready to eat, but the reheating in your oven is super easy. My new favorite meal is the ink bar.
I'm between 4 and 5 for this place. Your paella was great! But the service is somewhat oblivious. The food came to a good time, but they forgot essential things like utensils and water... somewhat uncomfortable, but the food was great. We ordered Papas bravas (potatoes with a big aioli), the “el pescador” and “rose” paella. Many good flavors. I wish I had more room. 2 paellas were a lot for 3 people!
Fantastic food! Try the garlic prawns appetizer! Calamari is wonderful! Paella paradise...!
Great place for delicious paella! We finally came here thanks to Sonoma County Restaurant Week. The menu included a selection of tapas, paella and creamy vanilla ice cream. Can't say it was a big restaurant week deal at $29 if Paella usually at $20. Tapas was good, but I would skip her and go straight to the paella next time, because it really is there. It's not easy to find good paella. It's cool that you can see that they make the huge batches of Paella. Next time I will share an order, as I have completed a togo box. Pros: tasty paella, good service Negative: limited menu
Great addition to the restaurant scene in downtown Santa Rosa! •Service go up, take a menu, stand in line (if you make the bustling chest of Paella), place your order, take your number, and find a seat. The delivery of drinks, tapas and paella, intentionally or not, was perfect. Gerard himself welcomed the people at the door and explained the ordering process. For customers and even bussing tables he has often checked as required. •Room: a terrace that opens up to the 4th street; nice and cozy, but could use some background music (sawed speakers so I am sure that will soon come) • Fooddrink: the Sangria was delicious and refreshing for a hot summer day in SR. The spicy “gangry sauce” on the Papas band was good, but I personally wished it was spicier. Some of the larger pieces of potatoes could have been cooked a little longer. The bread on the Calamari was crisp and tasty, although the squirting meat was on the cheerful side. The paella was perfect as expected, and the next time I will definitely add extra meat (only $4). An order can simply be individual, but recommend to share it when immersed in the tapas or pintxo. In addition, 1 sustainability point for the use of paper web instead of plastic! Overall: great ambience, location, food and drinks. In addition to some small tweaks (and this was the first week they are open), Gerards Paella will certainly be a hit among foods and casual eaters equally in Santa Rosa.
