The food at this restaurant was very expensive and of very poor quality. The enchiladas I ordered were so tough that I had to use a knife to cut them, as the tortillas were chewy and tough. My husband ordered a nacho supreme salad that had no meat or beans on it. While we understand that there may be staffing shortages, it's important to have a cook and food supplies that are high quality.
This small family-run restaurant has been severely impacted by Covid-19. It was evident that children were helping out by seating customers and taking orders. There was a suspicion that the waitress who was serving tables was also working in the kitchen. The service was slow, as it took a long time for our food to arrive. We were informed that there was a mix up with our order, which caused further delays. The quality of the food was decent, but there were issues with the salad being too watery and the croutons becoming soggy. Despite the challenges, the waitress was kind and understanding, even offering a discount on our bill when she overheard our concerns. The young daughter of the waitress suggested that the water in the salad was made intentionally, but we expressed our belief that this was not how a salad should be prepared. Overall, it was clear that the restaurant was struggling, but the staff was doing their best in a difficult situation.
Food was ok. Wow need to update your prices from yelp menu website. $9 difference is ridiculous.
Just charged 19.99 for a small grilled chicken salad, to go! Was offered a 15% senior discount. So I took it! Lol Won't be going back, since online it said the salad was $9.00!!!
