Tonight was our first night in the area, and I brought 3 self professed foodies. Roux 30A was a HUGE HIT! I cannot say enough about how special this restaurant is and Chef Nikhil and our waiter, Shawn, made everything so memorable! Black and Bleu, Soft shell crab, the 1855 steak and the Branzino 5 stars! Fantastic wine...I highly recommend this dining experience and hope you leave with the same feelings we did about our experience... Bon Appetit!!!
It was a very intimate and unique experience at Roux 30a, the food was delicious and the staff very friendly. I can not wait to go back!
Chef Nikhil always has a creative menu. This time he certainly did not disappoint, from the tender tile fish to the well prepared branzini. If you haven't dined at Roux 30A, you need to. In addition to Friday and Saturday evenings, they now have sushi on Sundays, and once a month there is the Around the World series on a Wednesday and Thursday. We dined there three times in 11 days and would go back without hesitation.
Atmosphere is wonderful. Gal who seated and waited on us first delightful and waiter was good too but seemed to forget about us towards the latter part. Lamb was over cooked so much could not cut w/ knife, prime rib was well done tough. Asparagus crab soup very tasty, light and fresh. For the you would think they would change out the flatware between courses w/ we had to save it each time.
