Cafe Donde Siempre - Santander

We decided to embark on a long walk from the city centre all the way up to the famous lighthouse, Cabo Mayor with a stop at Playa del Sardinero. After a quick look on Google Maps this one popped up and a short walk from the beach we were seated in a local cafe/bar. Food and drinks ordered we were met with a complimentary fish soup and tapas. We had underestimated the size of the baguettes we had ordered and were not disappointed. I think my chicken cesar came with two crumbed breasts the picture shows one half of each baguette! Safe to say we didn't leave hungry and had plenty of energy to finish out near 25km walk. It's not far from the beach so I'd give it a go.

Nothing very fancy but good food and nice staff. Staff also speak English. Good beer as well. Is a nice local bar where you can have something to eat and few drinks. Hope you will enjoy it as much as we did.

Food was pretty okay not that good. At the end when we had to pay the server got impatient and rude when the credit card was taking time to be approved.

Veníamos de Valladolid y estábamos buscando un lugar donde comer bien y a buen precio, y este ha sido un sitio ideal. El trato del camarero ha sido muy bueno, las raciones generosas y la comida muy rica. Repetiríamos sin dudarlo.
