Loaded with ham, bacon, and pineapple, it had plenty of cheese and just the right amount of sauce. The large pizza was prepared in a liqueur/deli, and I have to give it five stars. I highly recommend it!
This place is fantastic! They have an incredible selection of beers and a great variety of discs for disc golf. Now, let's discuss the food. I tried the Philly cheesesteak pizza and it was delicious! If you don't enjoy this place, you’re missing out! Here's a picture of what remains of the pizza—it won't last long!
Today, I ordered a well drink, Poppin' Pink Lemonade, but it came out orange. I pointed it out to the lady at the deli and showed her the cup. She checked and confirmed it was from the right box. However, I was taken aback because pink lemonade should be pink, and this looked and tasted like Orange Hi-C. After examining it again, she insisted it wasn’t the right box according to the well sticker. I can only imagine that someone mistakenly ran the orange Hi-C line and mixed it up with the pink lemonade without realizing it. I don’t think she was trying to deceive me; I just really wanted that Poppin' Pink Lemonade! Despite this mix-up, I recommend this place and will definitely return, especially since it’s right next to my favorite Mexican shop.
I love this place. Close too the disc golf course with a great disc selection. Has all the amenities of your typical liquor store. But the real prize here for me is the pizza. Pep and sausage for 2.50 a slice and i know it sounds crazy but the pizza is killer, especially for being a liquor store.
In the late 80s early 90s there was a liquor store behind the 7-11. They made pizza too and the place smelled like pizza even when you went in there for an ice cream. It was awesome. Lakes Market Deli hits that nostalgia spot for great pizza at a great price. Sauce has flavor, the cheese is not cheap nonsense (looking at you budgets pizza places. The service is what it is. Its like bodega service. Local joint run by the local family. My favorite characteristic about the place is that even though I can see breadsticks on their menu, the three times I asked about getting breadsticks I was told they don't have any. Which is hilarious because all the ingredients are there. For fun I still ask for breadsticks every time. DONT CHANGE A BIT!
