Santee Trolley Square

Always great service. Good spot for breakfast or lunch. Gets busy on the weekends, so go early if you do not want towait.

I have eaten here a couple of times with a large family group and this restaurant copes well. The service is good, orders taken quickly and food served hot, to everyone, at the same time. The breakfast food is good, and the price is fair. It is a lively/noisy atmosphere, nice to sit outside.

We have eaten there twice now. I had to go back to see if in fact the food was that bad a second time. I ordered their Southern Breakfast which was bisquits gravy, eggs and sausage. The eggs were ordered over med, and came half cooked over easy, the sausage was thrown in the microwave frozen and came to me like shoe leather. My wife ordered waffles with wiped cream that was running all over the plate like milk.

They have so many different ways of making an omelet, they serve a lot of food and its all so good. the inside is open no walls separating you from other diners which is ok, the service is great and fast.

An excellent breakfast restaurant is something to celebrate, and return to as frequently as one can. I now live in Houston, but have been a regular visitor to Santee for family reasons. Whenever I go, I make it a priority to eat at The Omelette Factory. Their corned beef hash is my go-to order, since I've never found another breakfast restaurant that does it better. If I eat their twice in the same trip, I order the pancakes with two eggs over easy. They consistently deliver a quality product with friendly service, and their new location is a much better environment than their original Santee location. Oh, and their hash browns are the best I've ever had. I'm glad I don't live in Santee, because I would struggle to maintain my weight!
