Berri - Santiago

One of my 10 best favorite places. I even love the decision that the card is tied, has the essential elements and that improves the feeling that a wait from a bar; the clear and uncomplicated things. the rest is too much. There's a good hand in the preparations and I'm going to be sure of the best empanadas fries I've ever found in santiago, pines and seafood. because in most bars there is only cheese. Berri has everything I get, and although sometimes I regret that they open it at 19.00 and not before, I would not change any of those details that make it adorable, as in the bathroom there is toilet paper of house and non-institutional and the girl of the family that is in the opening hours and that I feel like spending a while with which she collects it from the school.

Nice and intimate. I have the second floor, it has an air in the boulevard sink, with that old touch. the letter is not very wide, but although it is acquitted, it fulfills. normal flavors, nothing to highlight. the highlight is an atmosphere. attention is good. prices like lastarria. recommended.

Bar Berri in Lastarria is a classic restaurant with a cozy ambiance, perfect for a cold winter's night out. The old European bar feel makes it a great place to relax and have drinks with friends. The real standout of Bar Berri is its decoration, particularly the upstairs area. Even if you can't get a table on the second floor, it's worth going up to see the old portraits and antiques that transport you back to the early 1900s. Keep in mind that there is a 20% surcharge for the ambiance upstairs. Avoid visiting on Mondays through Wednesdays as it is closed. Bar Berri is not ideal for large groups as the owner prefers to keep the atmosphere intimate.

The restaurant needs to hire friendly staff who enjoy their work. I tried to order a drink at 1:30 am and was rudely told by a woman that they would be closing at 2:10 am (a strange time to close, but whatever). My friends and I just wanted one final drink before retiring for the night. It was my first night in Santiago and I was enjoying the city until this incident. The woman who served us seemed annoyed and angry, rolling her eyes because we wanted to stay for just one drink. It wasn't just what she said, but how she said it that was so off-putting. We decided to leave due to her rude attitude, and on the way out, she was still confrontational, denying any wrongdoing while continuing to roll her eyes. I would recommend avoiding this place as there are many better options to choose from. The restaurant smelled unpleasant and appeared run-down.

The employees were very unfriendly. The food was mediocre. The bar has a nice atmosphere, but the customers gave off a creepy vibe.
