A Tafona Do Preguntoiro

This is a small bread/pastry shop with quite a few choices of pastries and bread. Every time I passed by there was a line outside the bakery. I tried a few pastries and they were great. Unfortunately, I was told one contained pumpkin, but instead it contained apple – and I didn’t know that until I had walked away to eat it in the park. (Probably a language issue, the servers didn’t speak English well and my Spanish was even worse. But, on the plus side, it did taste good.

Tried 3 types of empanadillas (bacalao, carne and spinach) and the tarta de santiago. Reasonably priced. The tarta de santiago was the nicest item that we tried.

Had a superb sandwich ,jamon and Comte cheese made with delicious bread .Highly recommend this place. All the bread and supplies looked great too.

Hemos estado comprado pan y pasteles allí durante toda nuestra estancia en Santiago de Compostela. Buenos precios, buena atención y mejor aún el pan y los dulces.
