Cafe Puñal (santiago De Compostela)

Simple food, delicious. During the apostolo there were concerts in the park every night and it was super busy. Beautiful atmosphere

We came here after a local guy from the Albergue had recommended it to one of our group. We were 13 people. the owners are super friendly and nice! The food is homemade. There were 2 menus for pilgrims: one for 9€ and another for 12,50€ (more selection of fish). The wine was delicious and the food really great!! We even tried the different Orujos, thanks to the owner. It is a small restaurant with informal atmosphere, so it is better to book if you are a large group. Since it is from the main tourist roads, not many pilgrims know about this jewel. Definitely an ingenious place to eat when you get the camino!!! Very recommended!

Simple, clean, fast, attentive and seafood delicious!

On the way back from the cathedral we thought we were a beer to enjoy the sun and the park view. The staff was friendly, but there were no free tapas.

Pilgrim menu is affordable (9€ in July 2017 with impressive choice of started, main and dessert, incl. water and bread. The service is really warm, the owner even came out to search for us ;
