Charra - Santiago de Compostela

Average food, tortilla was terrible, unhygienic with a pigeon just inside the bar, reasonably quick service, generally pretty average.

I dined here with a fellow peregrina and we were made very welcome. This was our first stop after completing the camino and perfect for pulpo and a beer. My dining companion had tortilla and requested a sauce to go with it the spicy sauce that was provided was amazing and we asked what it was turns out it was a house made secret recipe. I would have bought several bottles of it if it had been available. Definitely returning here after my next camino.

Perfect place to eat tortillas. It came with green peppers and was delicious. We also had mussels with potatoes and squid. We had a demonstration of a live squid, a cooked squid, and the finished cut up dinner squid. The staff was extremely friendly and served the food in a very efficient manner. The decor was fun. Visitors put coins on the wall and make wishes. Many locals eat here so it is less touristy. This is a must.

¡Amo este lugar! hermoso ambiente, excelente comida y excelente servicio!! Mis amigos y yo siempre lo pasamos muy bien aquí. Los camareros son muy atentos y muy amables.
