First of all they were kind enough to let me dine there with shorts and flip flops even though they have a dress code. It was a really hot day and I wasn't really in the mood to go all the way home to change (habia hambre). I don't think there was a single part of the meal I did not enjoy. The little bread...excellent! The steak...scrumptious! The tostones...to die for! The beer...vestida de novia, as it should be! Let's not forget whatever they put in that little Aladdin genie lamp...legendary! If the flights weren't so expensive I'd fly down there just to experience this meal again. PS: Please patrons...frequent this place often! Keep it in business so that next time I return to the motherland I may enjoy this majestic meal once more.
Every time I go to santiago, thats a mandatory stop... 100% recommend
The food and the service was incredible. Wish I had taken pictures of the food, but to busy devouring the dishes.
Came here last night with a group of friends. There were 9 of us. We called in advance to make the reservation. As soon as we get there, table were ready for us. There’s a wine cellar in the back, immediately, my husband who is a sommelier walked into the cellar and begin his wine inspection. Because some of our friends love Cabernet Sauvignon from California, we decided to opened the bottle, but it was too sharp on the palate, it wasn’t a good choose and the price for that particular bottle was expensive. My husband suggested we should opened a Portugal bottle he had lay eye on before and it was half the price of the Cabernet. We opened it and had it side by side, the Portugal red was a win win! Throughout dinner, we had 2 more additional bottle of the Portuguese wine. We ordered a bunch of appetizers from dumplings to ceviche to eggplants to pulpo. Everything was delicious. For main course, we each order one. I had the pork rib. It was flavorful and tender. Highly recommended. Overall, we had a great experience. I must said know your wine. It could be intimidating.
Been here several times and the food never disappoints, it is one of my favorite spots in Santiago. My favorites are the Salmon with miso, honey and Moroccan rice, and as a drink DewarCline cocktail. DewarCline drinks was delicious, whisky with lime and Ginger, top notch. Salmon with miso, honey and Moroccan rice was very good and a recommended dish. The salmon was soft and the combination of the miso, honey , fingerling potatoes and Moroccan rice was a heavenly dish. As the cherry on the top, their service is top notch, Carlos(Supervisor) and the staff are always vigilant and making sure you are having a good experience. As long as the food and service the same, I will keep visiting this spot as many times as I can.
