We had to go to the second floor....More shiny, but nothing decorates the place. We waited about 20 minutes until a waitress gave us the menu....No of the prices that appeared on the table of the entrance were on the menu that she gave us....We had to wait 20 minutes until she took the order.....Then hour later she appeared, but the order was wrong when my husband asked her to change it, she only said that the cooktop would have added the 2 other sauces. I ordered Fetuccini a la Huancaína con Lomo (Fetuccini with cheese and pepper with lung) The taste was good, but some noodles were raw and the part was very small. When my son wanted to go to the bathroom, my husband took him to the men's bathroom, but there was 't water and the place was completely dirty, so I took him to the lady's bathroom with me. There was water, but it was really bad.... I don't know how many times they clean the bathroom, but the dirty papers were over the garbage bin and were on the floor.... disgusting. Bad service, unfortunate place and high prices for mediocre food. I'll never come back and NOT come back to go there.
I was there after I saw something on TV about the owner. The ambience is typical of a middle class stay in Peru, but was clean including toilets. They also seem to run a coffee shop with the same name next door. I was very happy with the food, we had done the ribs and pork in caja china. At first I thought the rib part was a bit small, I am from Texas and used to get ribs through the shelf or half frame and this time I received 2 ribs, but they were large, fleshy, a little more fat than I like, but very tasty. They were served with a salad and potatoes. My companion had pork made in a grill called caja china and was very crispy and well made. The Parrillero (grill cook) was wonderful. Now the unfortunate part, as part of my research I found her Facebook page. There were many pictures that were very appetizing. I had some of them in my head when we went and found none of them on the menu, and worse the waiters seemed to know nothing about them. If the articles are available seasonal or no longer, they should say so on their side. That was the only thing that kept me from giving them an outstanding one.
On November 1st. I went to this restaurant with my family, because I had seen twice a report about it on tv.First of all, the dinning room is poorly lit and you will feel the musty smell.
