The ambulance is rustic, clean and traditional to the Arequipa’s style with nice seating and some white walls! The service was fast and attentive. The food was okay we ordered a shrimp& fish plate called Lenguado en Salsa de Camaro es with white rice, the triple combination de sarsa de patita, rocoto relleno con pastel de papa y chicharron de cerdo and Rocoto Relleno! We also got a preacher of chicha Morada that has alcohol in it! All dishes came out okay and ordinary. I’ll give it 3.5 to 4 max!
This was a very good choice. A Friend from Arequipa living in Lima, asked me if we could go to a restaurant food from Arequipa. We were lucky because they had buffet and there was a lot to choose from. That means you always eat more than your stomack can bare. Anyway it was luxurious and i can recommend it to anyone who is familiar with the Arequipenian kitchen. Go on this adventure, it is worth it.

We went here for Lunch while in Lima and it was fantastic. You had the option of ordering from the menu or helping yourself at the Buffet. We went for the Buffet and just took our time eating while sampling most things on offer. All the food was typical dishes from the Arequipa region of Peru. There were starters, mains and desserts. I sampled most things and everything was great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant but be careful as you may be in pain from eating too much food. I can't remember the last time I was so full, but I'm not complaining as it was amazing!
In my last visit to Lima I was in the mood for a Chupe de Camarones (could be translated as Crayfish gumbo or chowder) and that is one of the few dishes that you have to eat in Peru because the taste of fresh Peruvian Crayfish is unique as well of the ingredients. So I went to the web and El Comercio (the New York times of Peru) mentions "El Rocoto" as well as "Francesco" and another two that I don't remember as the best places to eat it in Lima.... been to Francesco so it was time to try it at El Rocoto.Must say that it was not as good as the Chupe of Francesco but it was very good indeed, my nephew had the Lomo Saltado and told me that it was excellent. The buffet looked beautiful perhams I will try it on my next visit.
