Hostal Casa 14 - Santo Domingo

One of the best alternative places in Dominican Republic. It's an open space which is very nice and cute with all the plants hanging and around like a cozy garden. The drinks are amazing, the food is good and the customer service is excellent.

Our dinner at casa 14 was really a special experience that is hard to find elsewhere in santo domingo. they should feel like at home and be warmly welcomed by the personal. the mood is romantic and relaxing, quiet and yet energetic (live music some nights! and also communical. it is a great place to meet people whether they visit themselves or with family or friends. they can not beat it al fresco and I loved that it also pet-friendly! they really feel like in a tropical paradies and that all the problems of life seem to melt while they are just being at the moment and enjoy good society and fantastic food (definitiw the best I had in the dr! I had the mofongo and mojito, but I don't think they can go wrong with something on the menu. but what I loved most is that they can say that the owner is obliged to support the local community and create a neighbourhood that can be enjoyed by local people as traveling from far away. Do not miss this hidden gem while they will regret it in the capital!

Great hostel in the middle of the city. we like to call it oasis in the middle of the city due to its quiet terrace. great to rest and rest.

Nice and cozy good for dates, missing one star since they are cash only and most likely when they do it will become very expensive.

Love eating and the place. is only cozy. a nice place to have a drink with friends, to listen nice music and to eat is simply amazing. I ordered croquetas de yuca, green thau curry and a choripan. not complaining!
