Rafael was great, he only spoke Spanish, but was so helpful when I asked for help When the neighbors played a loud music at night, he assumed to change my room further. I could also use the kitchen whenever I wanted, Little Downsides are that the place is not refurbished, a little dust, mosquitoes to expect, not speak English (but forces you to practice or learn), pillow has bad spots, I usually bring my pillow case. But if you don't travel for the hotel, but for exploration this is the place, much authentic experience!
A super sweet place run by beautiful people. Quiet, near the tourist areas, but not RECHT. I loved it, so you will
The manager and all staff were friendly and helpful. The price was great, everything we need was near the hotel. The room was big enough for the price. I'll go back.
If you stay here, make sure you visit Alexis' bar only one block or two away on call Santiago over the street from the small Gloria Cocina restaurant. He's a great guy, he talks a little English and he's looking for you. Actually lived in the building next to the hotel and I can tell you it's easy to find for Uber still close enough that you can go anywhere. This neighborhood is Gazcue when you walk the day, it is safe. During the night there are the usual sounds of motorcycles and music and you can sit safely in front of the hotel and no one will disturb you. There are not many policemen or soldiers on this street, but only one block is a military building, so the entire area is well protected.
We laid less per person to stay much closer to the conde on another trip. I think it was fine and it had a breakfast included. about a 10 min walk from things... Especially if it's just one person it may be better for saving. But for the price we paid for 3 to stay, we could have gone somewhere else.
