Villa Colonial - Santo Domingo

Highest standard hotel so far on my Dominican trip. But only one night. Rooms clean and comfortable. Great breakfast. On foot to the main road and some historic places you have to see. Simple recommendation for a 1-2-day stay on a sightseeing trip for someone looking for hotel at European level.

The location is perfect. In the middle of the old town and still totally quiet. We could even park our car in front of the entrance. There are many great restaurants and all the sights of the old town on foot. The hotel administration was super nice and helpful. Very pragmatic and solution-oriented. When we arrived, the whole place seemed like an oasis of peace and tranquility and this impression did not change throughout our entire stay. We were greeted with a free drink and can relax from the airport in a beautiful garden. The breakfast was prepared individually and was also very delicious. Unfortunately, it is becoming increasingly rare to say that, but in this hotel everything was perfect. If we come back to Santo Domingo, we would definitely stay in this hotel.

Very nice Hotel. Super friendly staff. Everyday an amazing breakfast and the Hotel is extremly close to many attractions, restaurants and shopping opportunitys. We had a really great holiday.
