Mercearia Lealdade - Sao Bartolomeu

Combination of a corner shop and cafe/ snack bar. ideal place for a drink and a light bite to eat when they visit this pleasant city on the north coast. the city itself is much more pleasant than the spachtel of the beach taverns.

Beautiful place, but with the same music and very loud that make the experience a little annoying. lower the sound, improve the hospitality and it will be a good place to enjoy weine and other drinks

In this small town this merceraria is a good place for an aperitif, coffee or snack the coffee is good as the honey cake. there is a good choice of weeping and other specialties of madeira. it has a rustic feeling and I liked the henriques table and chairs made of barrels. the server was more sullen though not unpolitic. when leaving I noticed that the caffe should have closed two hours earlier, maybe he was a bit grumpy! loos were clean.

Sítio muito acolhedor e familiar. Fomos recebidos com toda a atenção. Recomendo vivamente as tapas acompanhadas de uma poncha feita no momento. Muuuuito boa. Adorei!
