Sams Southern Eatery Sap - Sapulpa

This is the best Southern food I've enjoyed in quite some time. I highly recommend checking out this restaurant. It is a bit on the expensive side, but definitely worth it!

This was our first visit to this restaurant, and we discovered that they are relocating to the former Hickory House BBQ on Mission. The food was excellent overall. The rib-eye steak was tender, but it was quite thin and didn't justify its price. On the other hand, the fried shrimp and catfish were fantastic, and the service was good. However, all the meals were served with plastic forks and knives, which was quite disappointing. I had to request a real steak knife, which ended up cutting through the paper plate! Most meals were also served in plastic baskets lined with paper. The place is kid-friendly and offers decent prices without skimping on portions. The salads and coleslaw were fresh. I’m giving it a rating of 3 stars mainly due to the disposable dinnerware.

The staff was very friendly, and even though the place was busy, our waitress remained very attentive. The food was excellent! My great-grandson especially enjoyed the catfish.

Delicious food and wonderful service! I stopped by for a quick meal before embarking on a long drive back to my home state, and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fantastic, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home in no time. I particularly appreciated their thoughtful gesture of handing out Valentine's Day gifts to married couples, which included a special one for an older couple that frequents the restaurant. It was a lovely touch. I will definitely return if I'm ever in Oklahoma again!

I'm not sure what went wrong during my visit today, but the food was terrible! I feel like I wasted $57. The fish was undercooked and pink in the center, and the burgers were really soggy with oversized tomato slices (I don’t mind large pickle slices though). Something was definitely off with the food today.
