Rico's Pizza Gulfgate - Sarasota County

Our second home is in Sarasota and it isn?t a visit without Rico?s!! Get to the house from the airport, place our order immediately night one., crave it when we get back to Colorado.? repeat. Never disappoints!!

I took my nephews to Rico?s before a Saturday night of fishing and bowling. It turned out to be the perfect spot for great pizza, delicious salads and eye-opening conversation about teenage life. The place was a beehive of activity during thehour-and-a-half we were there, with Rico?s drivers running fresh-made pies out to their vehicles, patrons coming in to dine atone of the four cozy tables and people picking up their own carry-out pies. The service was friendly and fast, and we thoroughlyenjoyed the energetic vibe that accompanied our yummy meal.

Inside are a few tables for dine in. I found all the food to be great, my wife found a few things to be too heavy on garlic. Kiddo devoured her pizza slice happily. Our server was top marks. Would have given five stars but had to deduct for cleanliness,the interorior is a bit dingy and could use a deep clean top to bottom to refresh it. New York city pizzeria vibes.

I was recommended to try this place several times. I ordered last week for take out. When I picked up the smell of garlic was fantastic being a garlic lover . Thr pizza I got was soggy. If I order again I will ask for crispy. I also ordered an app Macand cheese bites. They were burnt, very dark brown and no flavor what so ever. A little disappointed ????

Very, very yummy pizza. This is the margarita pizza with extra basil. Customer service was amazing and the entertainment from the television was a nice bonus. I definitely recommend this place!
