Almazónica Cervecería Peruvian Eatery

Went last night and my wife and I both had the skirt steak. They were served over sweet plantains. I was little surprised that there was no rice or any other side with the dish. Just the steak and plantains. My wife asked for some rice and we were charged $7 for a cup of rice.

Our favorite SRQ restaurant! Try the ceviche and you'll be hooked. And the beer is great!

Darwin's is a combination restaurant, microbrewery and bar. nice atmosphere but not over the top. It was slow the night we went so service was not tested under stress. It was very good none the less. Food came out quickly and the portions are generous. We tried the Caesar Salad which was excellent and good for two people. We tried the NY strip with Truffle Fries (very generous cut), took 1/2 home) and someone else had the Short Ribs, comments were excellent with large portion size. Other people had the Octopus Small Plate (nothing Small about it) and the Pork Tacos and Thai Shrimp Lettuce Wraps. All were well done and the house IPA was excellent. We will return. One of the better restaurants in town and the bill was very fair for the services rendered.

Food and service Amazing! Loved the short rib I dream about it). Cocktails were delicious and service from Carlos was top notch. 3 milks dessert is worth every calorie.

Our new favorite place. Appetizer, both entrees, cod and stir fry, and tres leche were amazing. Such great flavor. Great presentation and just enough portions. Will be back.
